HEADLINE: Qualify for European Poker Tour Dublin
on PokerStars
Body:
Event Scheduled for Oct. 30-Nov. 3
The next stop on the increasingly popular European Poker Tour
is in Dublin, Ireland, and players still have an opportunity to
qualify on PokerStars.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 30-Nov. 3 at the Merrion Casino
Club. Special EPT packages — which include the €8,000
($11,284*) seat, hotel accommodations, and $1,000 in spending
money — are up for grabs right now. Players can qualify
for as little as $5.50 by playing in one of the daily rebuy satellites
to gain entry to a $109 buy-in satellite. From there, players
win seats into $1,050 buy-in direct-entry satellites held on Saturdays
at 3 p.m. ET, each of which guarantee at least one prize package.
Packages can also be won for free with Frequent Player Points
(FPPs). Players can register for 10,000 FPP satellites, held on
Saturdays at 3 p.m., which guarantee one prize package each. Players
can get into that tournament for fewer FPPs by playing in either
a 250 FPP rebuy qualifier or a 1,000 FPP qualifier.
Players can also qualify on other poker sites by competing in
one of the many Player's Choice promotions. For more information
about those satellites, click here.
At last year’s EPT Dublin, Roland De Wolfe won the title
and the nearly $706,000 first-place prize. He defeated a field
of 389 players.
