Deposit Options Dropping Like Flies
Body:
According to the latest blog post at Compatible Poker the
true affects of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act are being felt
as almost all of the major ewallets closed to US gamblers. A full
report was done by Compatible Poker on ewallet sites.
The page which tracks US
poker news along with US deposit options and US
accepted poker sites had a major face lift last night. The
page now selects all the major changes that happened this week
with ewallet providers like Neteller.
"Changes are taking place left and right with the online
gambling sector right now," said Roger a moderator at Compatible
Poker. "Things have changed dramatically and online poker
in the US changed forever this week."
To name a few Neteller, Instadebt, and Click2pay were the main
operators to stop taking US gamblers. The latest blog post says
that Click2pay is not accepting new US gamblers as well.
Some of the poker
sites like Full
Tilt Poker are sending out emails to their online
poker players saying they will adapt to the changes. Many
fear that the few remaining ewallet providers like ePassporte
will also drop US
poker players and places like Full
Tilt Poker and Poker Stars will dry up.
The goal of the new legislation was to cut off online gambling
by going after the root cause, the ewallet sites. While the 270
period set to administer regulations has yet to occur the alleged
Neteller arrests triggered a domino affect which caused ewallet
providers to crumble according to Compatible Poker.
The page at Compatible Poker will continue to post news and changes
about poker sites and deposit providers as information becomes
available.
