HEADLINE: The 2007 World Poker Dealer Championships - Important Rules Changes

Body:
Binion's Casino, Las Vegas and Poker Player newspaper have changed the World Poker Dealer Championships rules to lift nearly all restrictions on sign-ups. In effect, the four events have been changed from a "representative" tournament to an "individual" tournament. Any qualified employee or owner of a public card room may play. One does NOT have to be sent by their place of employment.

Here are the events and the changes: 1) Ladies event - $500 buy-in +$50 entry fee - Any female who works in or directly for a public card room. Ladies may also play in one of the next three events, as qualified. Males may select only one of the next 3 events. 2) Dealer's Event - $1000 buy-in + $100 entry fee - Anyone who has dealt in a public card room in the 12 months prior to this event. Circuit dealers are eligible. 3) Supervisor's event, $1500 buy-in + $150 entry fee. Any employee who is NOT a dealer or a Card room manager or above, or an owner. (Dual rate employees may select either Event No. 2 or No. 3). 4) Manager's and Owner's event - $2000 buy-in + $200 entry fee. Card room managers and above, or, owners of card rooms. (Owners must have at least a 5 percent interest or greater, or be a member of the tribal council if from a Native American card room.)

All persons who win a cash prize will be required to show appropriate ID and be at least 21 years of age to play. Trophies will be awarded to each individual winner, to the card rooms from whence they came, and winners' names will be inscribed upon a permanent trophy to be on display at Binion's. This event is managed by Sludikoff Gaming Tournaments (Chairman, Stanley R. Sludikoff; President, Roy Student; VP Gaming Operations, Nick Gullo), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Poker Player Holding Company, which also manages The Masters of Poker event at the Peppermill in Reno, April 25 - May 11, 2008, the Poker's #1 Family tournament at Hollywood Park Casino in the spring of 2008, and, the Native American Poker Congress- dates to be announced later.
