HEADLINE: Michael Mizrachi being dropped by
Absolute Poker
Body:
It looks like Absolute
Poker won’t be renewing their endorsement deal with
poker pro Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi this May.
Absolute
Poker announced they will no longer be using professional
poker players to endorse their brands in the US domestic market,
but will continue to do so internationally. The marketing decision
on the dotcom brands in the US
does not in any way affect US
players.
Most people that follow online poker believe that there will
be no shortage of suitors for The Grinder’s services. Mizrachi
was CardPlayer Magazine’s 2006 Player of the Year and Point-Spreads.com
has learned of at least one company interested in making an offer
to The Grinder.
"The environment in this industry changes constantly, and
we are always willing to work with our partners to help them roll
with the changes," stated The Grinder’s agent Brian
Balsbaugh of Poker Royalty.
