Sometimes our job rocks. Other times it rocks a lot. This is one of those wonderful times. At 7:00pm PST on November 8th we'll be putting down our gamepads and picking up our cards. That's because tomorrow we'll be playing Texas Hold 'Em with developers from Neversoft to celebrate the imminent launch of that company's slick shooter, Gun.

Gun is about a single-minded ass kicker that likes gambling, whoring, shooting, scalping and riding. He's a poker playing madman on a quest to obtain truth, vengeance and other cool American things like booze.

Right now the game looks hot, but it should be smoking by the time it hits streets on November 8th for GameCube, PC, PS2 and Xbox and November 22nd for Xbox 360. Then again, you may not need to worry about any of that nonsense. You might just win your own free copy of Gun. Oh happy day.

On November 8th at 7:00pm PST our own Ivan "Hot Pie" Sulic will take on Neversoft guru Scott "Neversoft - Always Hard" Pease in a private no crapping or crying game of Texas Hold 'Em at Last Call Poker.com. Other participants will include Neversoft and 42 Entertainment folk. Buy-in will be something absurd, like a hundred million Dinars.

The game should look a bit like this... (Ivan is the hearty horse).

Much hilarity is guaranteed because Ivan is an abusive bastard that talks more trash than a garbage man and Scott has been known to mentally incapacitate people across the Internet with outstanding psychic powers. Or maybe he'll just cry when he inevitably loses house and home to Ivan. Either way it's a win for you!

Sometime during this raucous match we'll shout out an email. The first 20 people to send us a letter will be given free copies of Gun on a system of their choosing or a free Insider subscription. It's cake!
