into the Monte Carlo Millions Poker Tournament courtesy of CityPoker.com
and performed excellently against some of the world's top poker

Top world players attending the event included
Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Scotty
Nguyen, Mel Judah, Phil "Unabomber" Laak, the Hendon
Mob, and many more. The CityPoker.com players finished a solid
38th and 32nd in the first leg of the tournament and performed
even better in the second leg where they finished 18th and 14th,
respectively. Both players received an exciting, all-expense-paid
trip to Monte Carlo as part of the CityPoker.com promotion.

A Bear Stearns report for the industry pegged
annual revenue at $4.2 billion for 2003, while Christiansen Capital
Advisors predicts a slightly rosier picture pointing to an estimated
$4.5 billion in revenue for calendar year 2002, saying
2005 revenue could exceed $10 billion. Recent estimates from PokerPulse.com
note that over $140 million is wagered at online
poker sites during any given 24-hour period.
