HEADLINE: Poker proves winner for CryptoLogic

CryptoLogic, the internet gaming software
developer, announced better-than-forecast third-quarter results,
driven by the rapid growth of its online
poker product and a solid performance by the internet
casino business.
Online
poker fees from its WagerLogic software licensing
subsidiary increased more than 55 per cent from the previous quarter
and represented more than 20 per cent of total third-quarter revenue.
Quarterly sales rose 43 per cent to Dollars
15.6m (Pounds 8.5m), pre-tax profit to Dollars 3.4m (Dollars 2.5m)
and earnings per share from 18 cents to 22 cents. The shares rose
