Poker Loses Its Edge
Body:
Falling to an unlucky number 13 in the overall world online
poker market, Absolute
Poker continues to lose its competitive edge despite being
one of the few online poker websites to still accept customers
from the United States.
The good news - if there was any - is that Absolute
Poker sister site, Ultimate
Bet, has fared slightly better. That poker
room ranks at number 8 on the Gambling911.com Poker Traffic Monitor.
"Their search engine optimization is among the worst!"
exclaimed Gambling911.com's Payton O'Brien. "How could they
allow Pacific Poker to pass them? Pacific Poker had fallen off
the map a few months back."
Absolute
Poker and Ultimate
Bet are now only sending checks via regular mail, which takes
an average of 2 to 4 weeks but players report receiving their
checks nonetheless.
Bodog.com clings to the number 10 position but is likely to move
up in the ranks now that they have added back an electronic check
deposit method, considered the most popular among online
poker players.
Cake Poker Network and Ladbrokes are making some serious inroads
up the online poker
charts. But it is PokerStars,
PartyPoker and Full
Tilt, respectively, who occupy the top three positions among
all poker sites.
