Mac Poker Comes to Full Tilt Poker (see Full Tilt Review)

Mac poker players can now play with the pros at Full Tilt Poker using their newly launched native Mac poker client.

Full Tilt Poker’s native Mac poker software is currently in beta testing allowing Mac users to play for real money with a $600 sign up bonus using bonus code “Macintosh”. If players spot any new glitches or bugs at Full Tilt Poker they will get a baseball cap.

Full Tilt Poker says they are one of the first popular online poker rooms to have built a native downloadable Mac poker software. The software does not use Java which most mac poker rooms use. The advantage of a native poker room is that the graphics and accessories can be fully installed unlike Java versions.

Many mac poker players have complained in the past about lack of Mac poker rooms and no real native clients. It seems Full Tilt Poker has taken the plunge into the small market hoping to steal market share from Pacific Poker and PokerRoom.com which have Java versions for Mac users.

During Beta testing Full Tilt Poker says small glitches and bugs can happen. They urge players to report these bugs to the Full Tilt Poker staff so that they can get the software running smoothly.

Full Tilt’s mac poker software will allow users all the advantages that Windows users have. Mac poker players will have the capability to use the downloadable software, take notes on players, view hand histories, and choose avatars.
